Stages of Stress
-The Fight or Flight response is activated in the brain and body during the alarm stage of stress -People experience many different reactions in the alarm phase. We are all different. -The resistance stage of stress tries to get body and emotions back to a normal state (homeostasis) . -There are positive and negative ways to resist stress. Negative ways can be destructive to you and others. -In the exhaustion stage of stress the body breaks down and becomes sick (colds, depression, etc..) |
